Canterbury House - an Intentional Service Community

Located at 2334 Bancroft Way, Canterbury House offers a residential program for students interested in service work.

Residents enjoy a close knit community, eight house dinners a semester, various programs and speakers, the unique chance to live amongst an international and interfaith community and a location convenient to campus.

We have room for 18 students. There are spaces available each semester.

Students are asked to complete a set amount of service work each semester as part of the contract of residency. Many residents comment on the feeling of family gained through living at the Canterbury House. In addition, all campus programs from the Episcopal Church are open to residents and the Chaplain is available around the house at the strangest of hours to hang out and talk with the students as well as the odd late night caffeine and grease trip.

For more information contact the chaplain.

Want to apply? Download the application form, fill it out, and send it to the chaplain. Please also review the sample contract.
